JLL leads Macana at Mostakbal City: an integrated new development in New Cairo

The challenge

Located at the entrance to Mostakbal City's Golden Square area, Macana is an expansive mixed-use development that spans approximately 46 acres. It is among the city's largest projects, featuring a diverse range of buildings.

Recognising the complexity and scale of the project, El Rabwa Group, the developer, sought an experienced major scheme project delivery partner.

The JLL approach

JLL’s Project & Development Services was appointed to provide project management and cost management services, offering strategic guidance, and overseeing every aspect of the development process. This includes careful coordination with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure the seamless execution of each phase.

Bringing it to life

Our role involves the delivery of a 300-room Sheraton hotel and residence that comprises approximately 190 villas. We are overseeing the project from inception to fitout and completion, including managing construction costs to uphold the hotel’s distinct style and brand while adhering to the highest quality standards. As part of this responsibility, JLL will support the client in appointing the design consultant.

Our team is also responsible for monitoring the commercial and administrative components of The Rift Business Park, a 35,000 sqm development that includes office buildings, leisure and entertainment spaces, kids’ hub, medical clinics, and a shopping mall.
